Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Prayd, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Prayd.
Eligibility
Prayd is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use Prayd, and by using the app you confirm you are 18 or older. We do not permit anyone under 18 to use the app.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify hello.prayd@outlook.com if you believe your account is compromised. Do not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.
Community standards
Prayd is a Christian faith community with zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You MAY post sincere prayer requests, leave prayers, scripture, and encouragement, flag content, and post anonymously. You MAY NOT post hateful, threatening, harassing, sexual, or violent content; spam or solicit money or contact info; impersonate others; circumvent moderation or rate limits; use bots; harass or abuse other users; or post content inconsistent with the community's faith purpose. You can report objectionable content or block any user directly in the app, and you can email hello.prayd@outlook.com to report inappropriate activity. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing the content and ejecting the offending user. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards at any time.
Your content & license
You retain ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant Prayd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and store your content solely to operate the app; this ends when you delete the content or your account. When sharing scripture, you are responsible for complying with the relevant translation's copyright (public-domain translations like the KJV may be shared freely).
DMCA & copyright
If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello.prayd@outlook.com with identification of the work, the infringing content and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. We remove infringing content promptly.
Disclaimers
Prayd is a prayer community, not a counseling, medical, legal, or mental-health service — nothing here is professional advice. If you are in crisis, contact a qualified professional or emergency services. We make no representation regarding the outcome of any prayer, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. User content reflects the views of individual users only.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prayd and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100 USD.
Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; for material changes we will notify you in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions: hello.prayd@outlook.com.
